Bestiaires was made in 2012/2013 in the Netherlands, Norway and Slovenia and again has that special mix of modern dance and puppets. Humor and magic drag you into a surprising and creepy world. This time, Duda Paiva blows a new wind through mythological figures and gives a picture of our time.

Reactions from the press
"Humor, schoonheid, kwaliteit en origineel."
"Although this show was performed by a dance company and it’s premiere in Dansens Hus, the national Scene for Dance in Oslo, I believe many puppeteers felt a sense of pride at seeing puppet theatre introduced to the big stage in such an attractive manner and secretly thanking the creators for promoting the art of puppetry. Duda Paiva’s ‘Bestiaires’ also helps to destroy the myth that puppet theatre is only for children it may even help to open to a wider audience as those who originally came to watch a dance performance also found themselves watching and enjoying a puppet theatre play."
